oh sure. But one of the 1st things I'd think they'd do after the intial engagements is look at the supplies in the area..what can the Marines make

that is

A. Superior to what the Romans have and
B. Will not waste the 21st century material they have, cause once that's gone it's gone forever. Break a scope for a sniper rifle? How you gonna make the lenses for it? How are you going to make the metal casing for it?

You'd create 18th and maybe early 19th century tech, Cannon, muskets and long range catapults that the are hundreds of years advanced of the Romans.
