YES.. Zantac is available over the counter at a low low price of $250 for 60 pills. (according to my pharm program).
If the doc would have written a prescription then my mom could get the generic Ranitidine for $18 for 90 pills.

So now the question is... is Ranitidine available over the counter and does insurance cover over the counter meds. (I will guess is no and no)

Dumb. My mom is going to the pharmacy, lets see how it plays out.
