follow up to stuff on my Mom a little while ago ....

yes they monitored her oxygen levels, ... that has been excellent since last week when she first went to the hospital, and it's not a concern.

her blood pressure has been an issue of late, and is one of the things they want to follow up on in addition to the MRI (the bottom side of her bp has been down in the 50s some) .... her heart rate has also been a little slower than normal ... normal for mom being in the low 70s, and it has been down as low as the 50-60 bpm for her this week, though when she checked her pulse last night it was 58, which is better than what it was last Saturday at the hospital (hovered around 50 then) ...

the Drs' are expecting to rule out a stroke or stroke-like occurance, though they are suggesting she might have had a transient ischymmic attack (which is like a baby stroke) and not as serious as it sounds ...

depending on what the MRI tells us today affects where we go from here of course. she already has a follow up scheduled for her primary doctor tomorrow to discuss possibilities of if her medicines are causing this and what we can do from here ... I think her primary doc is concerned with it being more a blood pressure / bp medicine thing... but we'll see ...

thanks in advance for the continued positive thoughts from everyone. (and maybe I'll ask a mini favor for myself to help deal with the added stresses and pressure to what I've already been going throuigh in regards to my schooling ... on top of everything else, I have to make a decision VERY soon on whether or not to keep my declared major as is (meaning I won't graduate until May 2012) or remove the education minor attachment (doing so would mean i could graduate as soon as this coming August) ... and just what do I really wnat to do with my life hahaha...
