Max/DC STers: Remember the 2 floor Borders at Metro Center that closed? Clyde's restautant group bought it and is finishing up remodel.

Keep in mind this is a 2 floor huge ass bookstore. Clyde's (they own the Clydes chain, 1789, Old Ebbit) is opening up a restaurant/bar in that huge space. Supposed to be 2 floors of dining, 4 bars (2 upstairs and 2 down), and here's the kicker....24 hours a day, 7 days a week (I'm betting before open they change that to Thursday-Sunday)

There is no way that place is crowded on a weeknight in mid night hours. Plus unless that becomes the go to spot, there will be no late night crowd. There aren't any bars or clubs to support a drunk food place in that area. And DCers don't travel far for drunk food.
