Crash just called me at work, and I'm cracking up.

He's an officer in the county democratic party and the executive committee has been planning this big party for inaugreation night. One of the things that was made available at the county/state level were full size Obama standup cutouts so people could stand beside them and have their pictures taken. Well, the one the county ordered got deliverd via UPS to Crash earlier today. He unwrapped it to make sure it was ok, then just stoood it in a corner of the kitchen to keep it out of the way. Then he went out on his daily walk the dog/walk his Dad trip. In the meantime, Darcy, who was asleep when Obama was delivered, went out in the kitchen without turning the lights on. She went toaward the back doors and started screaming bloody murder--there was this very tall black man looming out of the darkness and it scared the shit out of her. She finally realized what it was about the time Mark got back. He's enjoying mocking her.
