My brother has a 3 yr old daughter, so she's been doing teh grandmother thing for a few years now.

She's excited about a grandson.
My niece however, is not liking the idea of "her grandmother" being someone else's, too. She didn't quite get the concept.
"I'm going to visit Auntie Kelly. Kelly is going to have a baby, and I'm going to be the baby's grandma."
"....how come you don't want to be MY grandma any more?"
(heh.)
