the field is a bunch of morons or outright insane people and the eventual nominee is a former Massachusetts Mormon Governor who has been on both sides of every significant issue. His healthcare reform was the frigging blue print for the federal program that the GOP deems the most evil piece of legistation of the President.

There is no Republican dark horse waiting to save them. He or she would have at least be part of the field by now.

A year is a long time but right now the GOP is in trouble.
