The link on b2 reinforced this:
"It describes Paterno, then 75, following protocol. Not until a week and a half later was the graduate assistant summoned to retell the horrific tale to Curley and Schultz."
This is the behavior demonstrated when officials are aware of a situation and are trying to hide beyond legal protection. Everyone is at the police by lunch the first day they are aware of it if it is new and shocking information. Everyone involved with this at Penn State fundamentally failed an 11-year-old boy in the 24 hours after he was raped. Sometimes, I don't understand people.
