I thought the story was fantastic and Bale does an amazing job as Batman, I mean he IS Batman. Leger was perfect as Joker, he nailed the part.

If he hadn't been in it, it still would have been a great movie, but he really added value to it. Would another actor have done as well? Who knows, that's up for speculation at this point. All we have to go on was Heath playing that particular role at that particular point in time.
