I don't think it's a moral obligation for the parents to be homeless or assume more debt than they can possibly pay so the kids can go to college. The kid can work and do things too. But if, and to the extent that parents can afford it, I think part of the job includes paying for that opportunity for the kids. Again, to the extent that they can afford it.
