Strangely, I think my anxiety tends to flare more at home than on the road.

I like traveling (in doses nowadays...I don't want to be on the road 80% like I used to be anymore. That was good for a time, but I like my more 40-50% current) but there have been a few times when the idea of an upcoming trip has made weary and anxious. Once I'm on the plane though, I'm "in mode". Something just clicks and I go do my job.
I definitely tend to have trips with high levels of work stress, but I don't really consider that anxiety since it's something with a known and logical source. Certainly my tendency toward anxiety probably adds to it, but it's manageable because I know I can do a good job and deliver good results.
The anxiety tends to come more when I have downtime, I think, and tends toward the personal space rather than the professional space (I think. I'm sorta analyzing this as I type it, so I appreciate you asking and causing me to consider this angle)
