This morning I rescued a bird that got caught in our range hood vent.

It was walking around on the mesh grille and the cats were watching it intently.

It ended up flying around the kitchen while kieran watched (eating breakfast), until I caught it and was able to get it outside.

I'm very glad it wasn't injured going through the ducting, that would have been sad.
