seems the host of Polyamorous Thanksgiving (seriously, how did this happen?) has an unbalanced former flatmate who had been asked to vacate the premises for the weekend. seems the same moment I took as my cue to leave (i.e. people's pants coming off) he took as his cue to show up at the front door with a moderately-sized kitchen knife rambling and making vague threats about one of the hosts. a not short session of talking him down ensued, and I have at last made my way home. hopefully nobody got knifed or arrested.

I don't have the words for how weirdly out of control everything went tonight. (seriously, this is totally not my life).
