From a grammar ahem POV, if you quote a phrase or two in the same paragraph...

If the quote(s), however, make up the most number of words in your paragraph, you can recast and use more of your language.
Maybe your professor wants to learn more about your ability to think? Draw conclusions? from reliable sources.
