Sunday with my wife and kids. T-giving itself was a bust

Typical 6 hour trip to Iowa at BIL followed by eating (which this year was awful) and movie (they insisted on Muppets which we had told them two weeks ago was non-optimal because my daughter was going to a bday party on Saturday for that movie). We saw Arthur Christmas after much upset. Left Friday after they didn't come through with a trip to the ISU vet school that they had offered my daughter. Sat was running around and all of us being less than cordial with each other at home but Sunday was pretty nice with us having the day together downtown.
