Another tip (and this will be difficult to do), but while you're in the hospital...it's ok to let the baby stay in the nursery for a while.

You don't have to have the baby in the room with you. It's a natural reaction to want him/her there...but you have to remember, the reason you're still in the hospital is for YOUR recovery. Let the nurses take the baby to the nursery and get some rest. DO NOT keep the baby in your room overnight...that's the worst. you'll have plenty of sleepless nights when you get home.
