I did it when I moved to Chicago. Drove from my parent's house to just north of Indianapolis before I had to stop. Then an easy Day Two up into Chicago.
Stopping and walking dogs will slow us down a little, and weather could (I did this drive in summer) but besides Nashville and Atlanta (and getting out of Chicago) traffic should be an issue at least. (looking at the bright side!)
