You know about my little twitter calendar project. I started it all earlier this year because it was very tight timewise last year. And now all went well .. the pictures, the voting, pre-sales ..
But now the girl who designs the thing does not finish it. I wanted to order last week. I had the first draft on Nov 7. Ten days ago I had collected all infos from the participants, short descriptions etc. Last weekend she said something that she had been ill and she would do it sunday.
She also told me that I have to keep pushing her.
Then last monday, last discussions. She says she needs to check if she has all the infos.
Tuesday she went to the movies with her bf.
Today was a tweetup dinner.
I understand that she has a real life, that's why i didn't get too pushy. But now she announces that she has something on her blog for tomorrow. Like she had on monday.
When i messaged her a few minutes ago and asked if she has all infos, she says she had to set priorities and will do it tomorrow.
Fine, I wrote on twitter now that I will order the calendar with the printing company tomorrow night.
To which she then replied on twitter that I put her under pressure.
Tomorrow is Dec 1. IF (and that's a big IF) the company delivers in one week like last year, it means I have two more weeks to send the calendars out. I wanted to deliver as many as possible in person (at tweetups) to save on postage. Sending one calendar via mail costs CHF7 (that's $7.70 !!!), The calendar costs CHF 20 including P&P.
No matter what she does, I will order the thing tomorrow. If it's finished or not.
