Flight holds/delays due to wind here are a few-times-a-month occurrence, so it's interesting to read about a place where it's news.

Come to think of it, LAX generally doesn't have problems that I can think of. Most other airports have something that causes them issues (SFO - Fog. Atlanta, Miami, DFW - Storms. The north - snow). You all are lucky
