I have never been fired, I had one job from age 19 to 34. The layoff from the bank was a life jarring event for me.

I went from being the go-to guy for everything, to a nobody who could not even get an interview.

I seriously could feel the dark cloud around me, and just wanted to crawl into a hole and die 90% of the time.
