Whew..on two round 2 with JCP interview - next week in person 1/2 a day - but need some advice....(inside)

The director liked me but said to recruiter at times I almost sounded like trying to give perfect answer. I DONT do that, I just say what I truly mean and think and how I work. I know that it sounds like "perfect answer" at times but I am just that driven and focused and aligned with how this guy things. And excited.

Any interview suggestions on how to still say what I want that sounds perfect but how better to couch it?

i.e. The guy was awesome and I look for a boss that I feel I can learn from and be a mentor and I said something to that effect - how do you make it not sound kiss assy?
