There was some issue where he was on the active roster for too long becuase they didn't option him down long enough in the middle part of the season.

I saw an explanation --- if get you get sent back down, it's gotta be for 15 days or something to stop your service time...he was down for like 11 days so those days count...
and he then is over the 45? days of service time on the active roster which is the other measure.
