The thing I'm finding interesting so far is how some potential Best Pic early mentions are falling off.

It's still way early, but we can basically assume J Edgar is a flop. And the (early) review of Iron Lady, while good, have the general them of "Meryl is superb in a somewhat lackluster movie" which suggests Iron Lady may become a Best Actress stronghold, but a Best Picture exclusion.

Those are two movies a few months ago that I would expected to be strong for Best Picture nominations.
