its not like many LGBT are republicans anyway, sure some may want to avoid taxes but then they'd have to vote for a ideology that pretty much wants to

criminalize (again) descriminate, mental institutionalize...if not out right exterminate (I know a bit extreme but just remember hitler picked up the gays first)
