If they trade him, it will be for Peavy. With him being a small part of the deal.

There was talk of Olson/Pie earlier, with Olson then being part of the package for Peavy.
And if they do trade Olson for an OF, they'll probably get one that they prefer to Pie. And likely one with options left, unlike Pie. And they'd still be up a low-level pitching prospect.
Pie was gone anyway. The Cubs managed to get something for him, something that could be part of bringing them an ace.
