i don't think there's any reasonable way for a couple to not piss each other off after a long period of time with a sleepless baby. it wears on you too much.
i literally sing Sam lullabies some nights that are like ~ oh you baby fucking shut your mouth sleep is simple as fuck just go do it and shit la la la ~ and SheFox is like "do you want me to take the baby?" and I say "no I want to hold him close to me and sing this song."
