Is your IM really true though? Jim got raked over the coals yesterday even though he had his ignore blinders on and did not engage in anything.

Someone else's misunderstanding dropped a grenade in Jim's lap and then a bunch of people yelled at Jim for having a grenade in his lap.
You'r right that both sides need to learn how to coexist and ignore shit, but so do the ancillary folks who aren't directly involved in the fight.
And I never saw anyone apologize to Jim for yesterdays fuck-up, FWIW.
