Becasue of course, it is so clear cut and no-tax accountant would ever be confused...especially since on the W2 from the IMF

the box showing payroll tax obligations is blanl, showing no obligation.
He got confused by our tax code...and people are surprised? Apparently even the software programs written to prepare tax returns can't get this right...so let's not throw him under the bus.
