The other nice thing - IMHO - is that the family gets to pick stuff themselves - not just provide a list. We at my office have done the family/list

Thing for many years - and some years it's hard because of the list being so scarce - so we had to embellish with things because we felt like doing more - PLUS I always felt the mom &/or Dad was cheated a bit from us wrapping all the stuff - I mean - wrapping is the fun part!
