Overall I was engrossed in it even after reading the book and seeing the Swedish version. I wasn't liking the music much of the time although it wasn't overpowering. Just thought sometimes it was too ponderous (but maybe that's what they were going for). The change from the book of how the mystery of Harriet was resolved was odd, I thought, and a little jarring because Anita wasn't Anita.
My friend thought it was way too long. I had to poke him a couple times when he dozed off and started to snore.
