It was on the cusp of legendary, just as the original had done with Drew Barrymore. Instead, they went least common denominator. If they end it with Emma Roberts lying beside her cousin, the movie is a masterpiece.

I understand the argument about theme but Williamson and Craven missed the forest for the trees here.
