in most cases, yes, but Oakland is notorious for robbing hitters of at bats with all that foul ground.

the ballpark dimensions on Oakland itself is not all that out of whack, but the foul ground is EASILY the most in the major leagues.
Might as well be playing in the middle of a cornfield.
