3 year average of .299 and .354 with a .750 OPS vs righties is not bad for 400 AB.

Up until last year which was a wash due to knee problems, he was trending upwards in 2008 and 2009, I think he is much better than you both think he is.
I am not saying he will be an All Star, but consider Adrian Gonzalez career best average up until this year was .304 in San Diego, and he jumped to .334 this year coming to Boston.
You see similar numbers with most full time players when they come to Boston to hit.
