honestly for me the mobile is all I need -- remember that I bus and walking commute for over two hours per day. I generally do news in the morning

and music in the afternoon. I *could* just keep my phone stocked, but the access to new things ("try before you buy") and the "I would like to listen to quadrophenia *right now*" aspects of things are attractive.
but again, since it's only an hour per day I really listen, it seems steep.
I wish I could split it with someone.
