gateway says, in it specs, that this machine uses ddr3 1066 pc38500.
so i got two 4 gb sticks.
but when i took out the originals, they say ddr3 1033.
every site on the net (crucial, newegg, etc) says the machine uses 1066. but when you put the 1066 in, it wont start, what so ever (just a loud constant beep) meaning it doesnt like the memory.
so do i go cheap and just get 2 more 2 gb sticks (I also noticed i have a height issue, like i cant use g.skill memory with the large metal coverings, wont fit.
