i have to just state this for the record.
we have 3 printers, a 20 yr old konica copier, an hp printer/scanner/fax, and a brother color printer.
the brother exploded (an refill cartridge) killing the machine. the hp has been broken for months, and estimtes to fix it are $1500 or so. the konica is always breaking, but when it was purchased it came with lifetime service.
so now, we have 3 broken and dysfunctional printers. my boss wants to buy a cheap (sub $500) mfc laser printer to replace the high end hp and the brother, but do nothing for the konica which we use to reproduce our audit reports on.
