Do you think Amazon or any other company will come out with an affordable tablet than can switch from backlit LCD to an e-ink display?

I know there was a high end tablet that did just that, but it was uber expensive.

I didn't think switching was possible as they 2 displays use different tech. I know that there was a proposed tablet with 2 screens. There is also

I would think the e-ink goes on top of the LCD and the LCD could be used as a back light. -- nm
