I just don't understand the Cubs interest in dealing him. We need pitching. Why would you trade your best pitcher.

I get that they want to stockpile prospects and maybe it makes sense if you view this as a 3-5 yr. horizon before you get competitive again, but I hope they aren't thinking that way entirely.
