LYC: I can't find a winter jacket for $80 or less. Everything at the price point is either ugly or not warm enough.

I searched online and I went to Burlington and then to Century 21 today but still nothing. I don't think anything at my price range is going to be good enough.
I'm not even being picky about it being name brand like North Face. I just don't want a shiny bubble jacket which seems to be the most available at my range. I want something with a hood that is water/wind resistant and warm enough to make it through a NE winter.
I even checked the local Goodwill, Salvation Army and thrift stores with no luck. Shopping is usually fun but this is getting frustrating.

Wow, I'm shocked Burlington didn't have anything good. Just picked up two coats there last month. I'll second the thrift store suggestion. -- nm
