I had a horrible shopping experience with Kmart online this holiday.

They had a BOGO 50% on toys promotion so we ordered 4 items, 3 Barbies and 1 Disney Princess. We selected 3 items for in-store pickup. One at the local Kmart, 2 at a farther Kmart, and the 4th item would come by mail. That afternoon, the local Kmart called us to say that the item was not in stock. They can't help us reorder and the BOGO 50% offer was only for that morning. Fuck them. And the inventory still said it was available in store. Fuck them more. We go to the farther Kmart to pick up the two items and they're just randomly selected Barbies from the shelf, not the items we ordered. They say that they don't get specific details on the order, even though our order specifically says which Barbies we wanted. Fuck them. We get the last item in the mail, wrapped in a plastic bag, mailed not from some warehouse but from that 2nd Kmart that's farther away (we could have just picked it up in the store!) We tried ordering two more items online during a 2nd promo and it arrived in a re-used box from another store, again, not from a warehouse.
Oh, and the item that wasn't in stock at the store, even though they said it was? We had paid with a gift card. The person on the phone (from the store, not any kind of central customer support) said we'd get a gift card in the mail for the refund. More than two weeks later (and after several phone calls and e-mails), we finally got someone to refund us the value (not the actual value, but more, in fact - dumb asses!) onto one of the gift cards we had used. Good thing we hadn't thrown out those gift cards!
