Now you can calculate how many calories you take in. I think 3200 calories = 1lb of fat (I think that is what it is)

Try to calculate on losing 1-3 pounds a week. Also with your medical condition, talking to your doctor might not be a bad idea.

So if you take in 500 less calories a day than you are burning (which still gives you a ton of calories to eat) you should be losing close to 5 pounds a month.

Weight Watchers makes this easy by using the points system. Less math.
