I can't overlook the fact that they set out to give the impression this was supposed to be the Major League Indians...while they had Hudson/Mulder/Zito and Chavez/Tejada on the roster.

I went back and looked at the #'s ... they were a 100 win team in 01...Izzy/Giambi/Damon combined for 15 WAR's...losing them and replacing with 3 schmoes make them an 85 win team; not a fire the GM melodrama.
