Seattle doesn't at this point either, he's a DH for them...an extremely potent DH. Seattle has experience with that.

The Yanks have Romine as their catcher of the future...if not the kid after him; but this is a monster deal for the Yanks as long as Pineda is healthy...they just got 4-5 years of control for a ace-level pitcher for a strong hitting guy with a weak position.
That's a great deal.
Course, given Seattle would have had me hitting 3rd in their lineup, this is a big step for them too.
