Maybe so, but maybe because Disney flicks are timeless to children and we all saw these things regardless of legit quality

that we then over-inflate their importance cuz it's now a ritual that we sit our kids down and watch them. Not cuz they're best pictures, but cuz they're only 1 of a few dozen animation movies out there from the past; that touched us all.

The smurfs sucked, but lets be real, children of the 80's watched the Smurfs.
