You're wrong. There are few characters whose parents we know. There is Claire. We don't know how her mom got her powers, but her dad was given his by a doctor. I think she's a descendant of Adam Monroe, though, who she shares powers with. Parkman and his dad share abilities. Do we know Hiro's dad's powers? Or how Hiro got his powers?
