It depends who you know. Or, more correctly, who you have circled. On Facebook, friending is mutual. On G+ circling is one way

I don't post a lot, but I read a lot on G+
It's better than Facebook and Twitter for following people/subjects you find interesting.
People I know personally don't post much, but I'm finding lots of stuff to be interested in.
