That was our "dream" vehicle when we started this process and we think we're close on making it work for a model year at least three years older than we thought we could get into.

With the new house last year and adding a vehicle this year, we're 100% the debt-fueled middle class family that is supposedly going to be underwater if interest rates started blowing up. (Which I know they're not, but still...) We've got some buffers built in, but the next two years will be serious debt payment time.

The Escape I asked about sold before we got there.
