I think there's plenty of drama....it's just that no one really cares.

I think the Artist has the edge becuase it's got so many more nominations than Descendents; it's got the idea of a much broader well-constructed movie....
but Descendents has George and is the 'drama' and a much easier sell than a silent movie.
Then you have the Woody Allen love in his most successful movie in years...
and Hugo is out there as a potential spoiler.
Add in the Help exists as probably the most well-acted rounded movie of the year...
it's a wide-open race; just with underwhelming movies.
