See, I don't really see that. There's nothing wrong with taking your own wants and needs into account when making a decision like this. It's just

being sure you're being honest about it with your partner and yourself. She's not being any more selfish about wanting to move than he is about wanting to stay. You want what you want. Yes, you both need to make compromises to make a marriage work, but sometimes the compromises are too great for one or both. The goal here is to be happy, so you have to account for all your wants and needs.
