I wasn't in shape when I started but it got better really quick. You guys just made me look, and my best mile last summer was 6:36

Not bad considering I never run a single mile, always 4-5 km minimum.

What worked for me was keeping records of my run. It felt good seeing the improvements. That's why I love my Nike+iPod
